It was July 2009 when we – called up by the announcement of the Tron:Legacy movie – speculated about a new Daft Punk tour for the last time. After a period of respose a video game featuring them appeared and recently a weird flyer with alleged tour dates, which looked like it was made with Microsoft Paint, was posted in the Erol Alkan forum and a new video ad by adidas and Star Wars hit the Youtube, showing the heads of Daft Punk on the last screen. Too, people guessed that the band would play the Coachella Festival again, but it turned out they don’t.
Yesterday appeared a song called ‘Fragile’ on fan page Daftworld and blog The Playlist with both sites claiming this to be an official part from Daft Punk’s Tron Legacy O.S.T., which by the way shall include not less than 24 songs according to URB. Since “Fragile” sounds a bit different from what we would it expect to sound and since the world already got fooled once by the allegedly DP song “Love” you should have a listen to the following stream under reserve:

Oh and speaking about Daft Punk: A few days ago we found a message in our inbox from a reliable well connected source listing ten upcoming Daft Punk concerts around the world for this summer*! The only problem: those ten dates were already posted last summer and then got officially denied. But our source says that the dates are still circulating in the inner secret Parisian Daft Punk circles, so maybe they were just discounted back then to keep the tension high… it would be too great anyway!
