Joe Goddard remixes The Invisible

First their promo photographer bathed London three-piece The Invisible in water, now it’s Hot Chip’s Joe Goddard, who’s bathing their “London Girl” in gradualness stretching the track to a seven-minute long steadily rising space dream pop, nu disco odyssey, which get’s lost in repetition in the end. Apropos live: David Okumu, Leo Taylor und Tom Herbert alias The Invisible will play at room two of London’s Fabric next Friday, March 5th, who kindly provided this download. The same night will see Filthy Dukes’ Kill Em All party with dance floor super shocker Drums of Death, Popof and StopMakingMe entering room one, while our Italian favourite Riva Starr (“I Was Drunk“) will play room three and Late of the Pier will join The Invisible with a dj set. See the complete line-up with more artists here.

The night will also mark the beginning of a mid-sized UK tour for the trio, followed by three live appearances at the South by Southwest (SXSW) Festival in Austin, Texas/USA, and a gig in Zurich, Switzerland.

Kingdom: From Brooklyn to Europe

This weekend Kingdom, one of Brooklyn’s club culture’s leading DJs, will hit Europe playing three shows in a row. There the collaborator of A-Trak‘s Fools Gold Rec. will not only present his unique style combining garage house with some classic R&B and club sounds, but his new Mindreader EP , which is out via Fools Gold Rec. and Acéphale now.

Tonight is the kick-off of Kingdom‘s little tour in Paris with Sidney Samson at Social Club, then London with A-Trak’s Fools Gold night at Fabric’s Room Two and Berlin will follow. Check DiscoDust for a heady rework of “Mindreader” by L-Vis 1990 or RCRDLBL for his own brilliant remix of Telepathe‘s “Chrome’s On It” and give this fantastic mix he did a for Fabric a listen below:

Some last words on the Berlin night: If you are in town, you definitely shouldn’t miss this one! Awesome Agency have put together one of their best line-ups ever! Kingdom’s set will be joined by a live performance by 100% girl mama power act Mama from East-London’s Batty Bass and another high-quality banging dj appearance by the label’s head and founder Hannah Holland. Furthermore &Me from Berlin’s rising label star keinemusik, Bodi Bill, Daniel Haaksman, DJ Wool and Stil vor Talent‘s Channel X and Niko Schwind will spin some records as well. And on top of it, the whole thing will take place at our favorite Berlin nightclub, Villa, as usual.

Kill Em All with O Children single release

Through all the success the Filthy Dukes gained in the recent years they never stopped hosting the night that made them famous. So famous Kill Em All is back for another great night at Fabric, London, on September 4th. Like all the times before it features again a absolutely extraordinary line-up.

Beneath the obligatory DJ set by the hosts three live sets of Paris’ Popof and two of our favourite DJs of all time, Riton and disco-star Aeoroplane will make you dance, plus another appearance by Stop Making Me behind the desks. In addition uprising dark wave underground band O Children will exclusively celebrate the release of their new single “Dead Disco Dancer”. So throw over a nice dress and enjoy yourselves.
